As Mayor, I will definitely use my 30 years of experience in the real estate sector to address this critical area. Oʻahu’s beauty and political stability contribute to our housing challenges. Local residents have to compete with billionaire investors and corporations for real estate holdings. Unfortunately, we are experiencing more of our residents leaving in the last two years; partly due to escalating costs of living. We can and must assist in this housing crisis. We must put our Residents First! We must control gentrification and prosper our local ʻohana.
